My Look: Winters Whites

No need to live by the old adage, in my book white is wearable year round.   Here is an outfit I wore last week, that I submitted to the New York Times because they were looking for monochromatic looks. I think the key to wearing  a single color or tone head-to-toe is mixing textures.  (Hence my sequins, suede and cable knit.)

(My look: Banana Republic off-white sequin skirt, Forever 21 fisherman's style cable knit sweater, Gap button down (old),  Banana Republic platform suede pumps (old), J.Crew trench coat,  and a vintage pearl necklace.)
