West Elm Takes a Cue from Anthropologie

I just had to share... You know I love colorful dishes, and these new West Elm dishes are the latest on my wish list. (I actually need to pick up some coffee/tea mugs, but I'm having decision anxiety.)

They remind me of this set that I have had my eye on at Anthropogie.  I love the price point at West Elm so I'm hoping this is a sign that they will be coming out with more fun and colorful decor items. 

Bored of White Dishes

When I bought my first set of dishes (the ones I still have now), I chose a super-simple all white set.   The thought was: they would "go with everything,"  food looks good on white and I wouldn't get sick of them.  But, it turns out,  I'm kind of sick of them.  I want something more fun!  And, as it turns out, in comparison to a lot of the places where I spend my money,  dishes aren't that expensive.

I've been shopping around for some fun tableware options.  I haven't chosen yet but here are some of the ones I think might make me just a bit happier at dinner every day.
