Edible Sparkles!
While recently doing some holiday baking, a friend mentioned she had picked up some "sparkles" meaning "sprinkles" and we laughed BUT, little did I know that there actually was such a thing as edible glitter!
While searching for an edible marker to put the finishing touches on some holiday cookies, I came across this:

While it may not look like much, look how lovely glittery stars make this cupcake:
